Unlicensed Clinics must Be Closed Down

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama has instructed Jakarta Health Department to close down all unlicensed Chiropractic clinics.

"I want Health Department to make a report to Local Police. If the clinic does not have business permit, just close down them," he said, at City Hall, Thursday (1/7).

He was upset, because he detected the clinics operate in the malls. At least, they have nine branches in nine different malls. "Don't open the clinic arbitrarily in mall. This is violate. Report this case to the police to close down them," he asserted.

He asked Jakartans to be careful in choosing a treatment place. "Just come to the hospital or community health center (puskesmas) if you have health disorders," he expressed.

His party will check the clinic permits one by one in every mall. "I suspect the clinic is used for massage, instead of proper clinic," he argued.
